Schwer verletzt rettet sich Texas Ranger Jake mit letzter Kraft während eines Schneesturms bis zu einer einsamen Hütte. Dort retten ihm Rachel und ihr kleiner Bruder das Leben. Und wie es in einem richtigen LiRo sein muss, Rachel und Jake verlieben sich ineinander. Aber Rachel glaubt, nicht gut genug für ihn zu sein, vor allem wegen der zwielichtigen Vergangenheit ihrer bereits toten Mutter. Und Jake ist überzeugt, dass er nicht zum Ehemann taugt...Aber natürlich findet alles ein gutes Happy End.

Mir hat das Buch gut gefallen. Es war schön zu lesen.
